I haven’t been up to date with the Front Page or oppo for a long time so forgive me if I’m late but are you all aware of Holdens last hurrah for the Commodore, the VF GTS-R. An LS9 powered 476kw family sedan.

Last hurrah

I think this is a lie. They’re keen to push this angle, because of course. I have a friend who wants a VF II SS because it’s “the last one”.

Of course, drive.com.au are incentivized to call it that as well, for more views. That doesn’t make it so.

They’ll keep building cars as long as they can. I think there’ll be another generation after this one. And maybe one after that. Tweaks here, some more power there, better suspension here, limited edition there. It’ll be like the Zonda.

Yeah my boss/friend... I don’t know anymore... Bought a VFII SSV Redline Sportswagon.

They are pretty sweet.

The wagons especially! I think if my brother had the money he’d have gotten a wagon too. He actually went for a VE wagon, but got a decent deal on a VF sedan so he took it.

The wagons are sweet is what I’m saying.
